About us

The Roll Back Antimicrobial Resistance Initiative (RBA Initiative) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to containing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) headquartered in Dodoma, Tanzania.

With international reach the RBA Initiative has emerged as a pioneering force in the field of AMR, setting a precedent within Africa and globally for its specialized focus on addressing this critical health issue.

The organization promotes the rational use of antimicrobials, conducts research on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and promotes behavioral change, with the aim of reducing the rate of infection due to AMR.
