Strengthening AMR and Zoonotic Disease Messaging

Our Project Coordinator represented the Roll-back AMR Initiative at a crucial validation and review meeting for multimedia campaign materials and messaging on zoonotic diseases and AMR behaviors.

The meeting brought together a diverse range of stakeholders from OneHealth and Global Health sectors to collaboratively design impactful messaging aimed at addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and zoonotic threats.

Organized by the Prime Minister’s Office in partnership with Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs – USAID Breakthrough ACTION Project, the session took place in Dodoma, Tanzania. This initiative plays a vital role in ensuring that AMR and zoonotic disease awareness campaigns are evidence-based, culturally relevant, and effectively communicated to the public.

As RBA Initiative, we remain committed to advancing AMR advocacy and public engagement through strategic partnerships and innovative communication approaches.
